Keynote Speaker: Gerald Torres, Counselor and Reality Carpinteria Co-Founder
Gerald Torres, also known as “G”, began serving the Santa Barbara community alongside Ricky Ryan at Calvary Chapel, where he served as a youth pastor for a decade. His passion for ministry led him to co-found Reality in Carpinteria, where he devoted 15 years as Executive Pastor, nurturing the growth of Reality churches across the nation, from Ventura and Los Angeles to Boston and the Bay Area.
G’s dedication to providing pastoral care shines through even now as he continues his work, from offering premarital counseling to life coaching at local high schools. His heart for the vulnerable spurs continued collaboration with Safe Houses, protecting
girls from human trafficking through his nonprofit, Restoring.Us. G believed in pouring into his beloved community, regularly leading local church Bible studies, imparting wisdom and faith, and connecting with students at Providence High School. Beyond his pastoral duties, G and April, his high school sweetheart of 32 years, find joy in raising their three daughters and son.
